Resetting the oil service light on a Ford Fiesta is required after completing an engine oil change. Method 1: Ford Fiesta Oil Service Reset Using Dashboard Controls (Most Models)

  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  • For vehicles with a traditional key, turn the key to position II.

  • For push-button start models, press the Start/Stop button once without pressing the brake pedal.

  1. Make sure all doors are closed.

  2. Use the steering wheel buttons to open the vehicle menu:

  • Press the MENU button.

  • Navigate to Settings or Vehicle Settings.

  • Choose Oil Life Reset or Oil Service Reset.
